Tinkies to target tweens with Half&Half in exciting launch campaign

Tinkies Half&Half is bringing new tastes and flavour explosions to the single serve snack market.

“New Tinkies Half&Half is the mega mash-up, taking flavour combinations to a whole new level,” says Michaela Murning, Tiger Brands Consulting Marketing Director – Baked Goods.

“A mash-up is a term borrowed from the music industry and describes a blend of two or more songs, combining vocals with instrumentals to get a whole new song.”

Staying close to the mash-up origins, Tinkies is targeting tweens with an exciting Half&Half launch campaign where DJs will compile a mix and listeners will phone in, to name the songs in the mix and have an opportunity to win R5000.

Tinkies Half&Half is available in chocolate/vanilla and strawberry/vanilla and shoppers will see the launch campaign with sampling in supermarkets from May 2019.

The launch will be supported by an extensive marketing campaign – radio, social media, in-store – with prizes including JBL headsets and Nintendo Switches. These products have been selected as prizes as they mirror the mash-up theme also making one new product out of two existing ones.

PRICE: Tinkies will be available from R6.99 each and R39,99 for a pack of six.
