What’s Next for Beastly Eats?
This year we want to feature everyday real food at home with everyday ingredients you can find at any store. Realistic stuff. Stuff you can definitely pronounce and recognise. Bringing back the excitement of Proudly South African food, nothing too fancy (unless we’ve been invited to a beautiful South African Restaurant), a balance between scratch cooking, basic easy stuff and trying new things which connects to YOU, our South African Foodies.
NEW RECIPES: There is so much more to South African food that we want to showcase, and we cant wait to learn and discover new things.
NEW CAMPAIGNS: We’re heading up an amazing campaign this year and we cant wait to share it. Looking forward to fun and exciting collaborations with my fellow foodies and creating great content for brands.
HELLO YOUTUBE: We’re putting more focus on video in 2020 (both recipes and how-to’s), so if you have any burning cooking questions, we want to know!
BEASTLY EATS SOUTH AFRICA: Exactly that, we’re travelling around SA to find the best food spots in Mzansi, to learn more about the food cuisine our country has to offer. And to help you know what you can eat and do in the different provinces.
This chakalaka is our most requested braai salad, we love that you can gage how spicy you want this according to your palette.
This is our family favourite on a sunday. Learning how to make the much-loved South African traditional sticky spicy treats was so much fun!
This is a great addition to your breakfast table. We love eating crumpets with bacon and bananas, they are even better warm with butter and syrup.
Chicken feet or “runaways”, this recipe is packed with flavour. Best enjoyed with pap.
This is one of our favourite things to eat, idombolo is not only tasty, its also very easy to make. All you need is FIVE ingredients.
This is one of the most loved South African food, enjoyed with polony, atchaar and chips.
We’re putting our hearts and souls into 2020, we hope you enjoy the food trip with us.
